What an amazing day for the Matt Garcia Foundation!
On Friday, September 25th, we gathered at the beautiful Rancho Solano Golf Course for our annual charity golf tournament, and what an incredible and beautiful day it was!
The tournament was completely sold out, bringing together an amazing group of golfers, supporters, sponsors, volunteers, friends, and community members who came together to support a cause that means so much to all of us.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised significant funds not only through the golfers, but through our raffle, silent auction, and live auction. We were especially honored to have Golden State Warriors radio voice Tim Roy generously donate Warriors tickets for our live auction. The generosity behind every donated item and every bid helped make the day a tremendous success.
But this event is about so much more than golf.
The Matt Garcia Foundation's mission is to support youth, help stop crime, and strengthen our community. Through the funds raised at events like this, we are able to continue making a difference throughout the year.
We will continue to provide scholarships through our Assist a Grad program, sponsor youth sports teams and other youth-related causes, host monthly cleanups in our downtown, and play a large role in our annual downtown tree lighting, where we provide treats, activities, and fun for local families. We also will continue to support our Homicide Survivor's Group, which supports our community members who have gone through the unthinkable.
Every dollar raised helps us continue that work.
And while we were enjoying such a wonderful day together, there was something very special in the air.
We felt Matt's presence.
Matt is the reason this Foundation exists, and his spirit continues to inspire everything we do.
We also felt the spirit of our beloved "Grandma Chris," Matt's grandmother, whom we sadly lost this year. It was a beautiful reminder that although they are no longer with us, their love, their memories, and their legacy continue to be a part of everything we do.

Our amazing sponsors, your generosity and continued support allow us to make a difference in the lives of locals. Everyone who donated raffle and auction items, your generosity helped make our raffle and auctions such a tremendous success.
Our incredible volunteers, so much work happens behind the scenes to make an event like this possible, and we couldn't do it without you. Our dedicated board members, thank you for the countless hours, energy, and commitment you give to the Matt Garcia Foundation and our community.
All of the golfers, supporters, donors, friends, and community members who came out to support us, your participation made this a truly special day.
And a very special thank you to Tim Roy for his generous donation of Golden State Warriors tickets and for helping make our live auction such a memorable part of the event.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to believe in the mission of the Matt Garcia Foundation. Because of you, we can continue investing in our youth, supporting positive opportunities, helping strengthen our community, and honoring Matt's legacy through service.
